| Overview of the Position | U.S. Magistrate Judge Stanley A. Boone is seeking well qualified candidates for a full-time, term law clerk position in his Fresno, California chambers. The incumbent will perform substantive review, research and writing on a wide range of issues that arise in federal litigation. This will include drafting orders on civil, criminal, social security, and prisoner civil rights matters. Candidates should be available for a start date on or shortly after Sept. 8, 2025. The initial term of appointment will be set at two years (subject to renewal for up to two additional years). The selected candidate will be expected to work in the judge’s chambers located in Fresno, California. Applicants who are unwilling to relocate to Fresno should not apply. An initial two-year term of appointment is preferred. The term may be extended for up to two additional years by mutual agreement. |
